Range of reds from crimson to burgundy. Lac reds are softer and warmer than cochineal reds. A pinch of iron modifies the colours towards purple. (photo shows handspun wool dyed with Lac extract).
Lac extract is weighed and packed in a polythene grip-seal bag. We then place the extract in a small padded envelope and post it to you First Class or by airmail.
