What you need to know about International orders
We are based in the UK but we sell worldwide. We currently have 16,000 customers in 80 countries and have been trading since 2007. Read more about our customers here.
Language for correspondence
We speak English and Portuguese. We provide Google Translate right at the bottom of most pages of the website, which will provide an approximate idea of the contents of the web page but is of variable quality depending on the language you have chosen. If you have a query, we would appreciate it if you would write in English or Portuguese and we will reply in the same idiom. The Wild Colours email address and contact form are here.
Freight and Delivery
Most of our orders are sent Airmail by the UK’s Postal Service (Royal Mail), because carriers, such as DHL, Fedex and TNT, are much more expensive for small parcels.
Airmail is charged mainly by weight but size may also be important. A guide to our Airmail charges is provided here for Europe, USA, Asia and the rest of the World.
Airmail is not Tracked and delivery times may be very variable to distant locations. If you want a Tracked service with more reliable delivery times, we can send your parcel by Royal Mail’s International Tracked & Signed service, which costs £5-£6 more than the Airmail charges quoted above. Add a note to your order or send us an email requesting the Tracked service.
Royal Mail’s Airmail has a weight limit of 2 kg. Large or heavier parcels are usually sent by Royal Mail’s Parcelforce Express service but may arrive by a different carrier, such as DHL or TNT, in your country.
How you will be charged for delivery
When you place your order via the shopping cart, the shopping cart will automatically charge you £4.95 for UK orders up to £70 in value (as at April 2017) and no charge for larger orders.
You will then receive an email from us detailing the extra charges that you need to pay to cover the cost of shipping your international order to your location, before we post your order. You can request a Tracked service by replying to that email.
The email will be followed by a Paypal invoice to cover that cost. The Paypal invoice can be paid either from a Paypal account or by a credit card, debit card or bank account valid in your country. For more information on how to pay, click here.
