Cochineal Kit

Cochineal Kit contains 25g whole cochineal, wool, assistants and full instructions.

Each kit contains 25 grams of whole Cochineal, 50 grams of Alum, 50 grams of Cream of Tartar, and 2 hanks each of 100 grams (i.e. just under 8 oz in total) of very high quality Double Knit organic Merino wool, together with full dyeing instructions.

2 hanks each of 100 gram Double Knit organic Merino wool
4 pages of dyeing instructions (dyeing with cochineal, mordanting with alum, scouring wool, and safety guidelines).

We recommend that you handwash the wool.
