Cochineal Kit

Cochineal Kit contains 25g whole cochineal, wool, assistants and full instructions.

Each kit contains 25 grams of whole Cochineal, 50 grams of Alum, 50 grams of Cream of Tartar, and 2 hanks each of 100 grams (i.e. just under 8 oz in total) of very high quality Double Knit British wool from Blue-faced Leicester sheep, together with full dyeing instructions.

2 hanks each of 100 gram Double Knit Blue-faced Leicester sheep wool
4 pages of dyeing instructions (dyeing with cochineal, mordanting with alum, scouring wool, and safety guidelines).

We recommend that you handwash the wool.
